- I'm a teacher and a life-long learner. As a little kid I use to pretend I was a teacher until I actually began teaching when I was a teenager. I first taught younger kids to twirl a baton and swim. I began as a high school teacher in Nebraska and am currently an active retiree at Glendale Community College. Life long learning is an essential element of teaching computer information systems. Learning occurs within my hobbies as well as I continue to take voice lessons each week.
